Are Wigs Comfortable?

Choosing the right size is important, and we offer petite, average, and large cap wigs to ensure the perfect fit.

How Do You Care for a Wig?

Caring for a wig is simple once you learn a few basics. High-quality synthetic wigs only need to be washed every 10–15 wears, depending on how often you wear them. At Godiva’s Secret Wigs, we carry the specialized wig care products you’ll need, such as shampoo, conditioner, and hair spray (scented and non-scented versions) designed just for high-quality synthetic fibers.

Here’s a simple routine:

1. Gently comb your wig before washing with a wig brush.

2. Wash using wig-safe shampoo and cold water.

3. Condition lightly and let air dry upside down on a wig hanger.

4. Never use heat styling unless your wig is labeled heat-friendly.  The only heat we recommend using is our 1" Hot Air Brush.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do wigs damage your natural hair?
Wearing open-wefted wigs will not damage your natural hair or inhibit your hair growth, because they allow  your scalp to breathe. Also, wigs can give your own hair a break from heat styling and coloring.

Can I sleep in my wig?
We don’t recommend sleeping in wigs, as it can cause tangling and shorten the lifespan of your wig. Instead, try a sleep cap or turban for nighttime comfort.

Can I wear wigs every day?
Yes! Many of our clients wear wigs daily. With the right fit and style, they become as natural a part of your routine as putting on makeup.
