About Hair Clips & Bling
What hair clips and rhinestone pieces are in this collection?
Everything here clips, ties or pins into a wig, a topper or your own hair. Our claw clips come in a medium and a large, in black and tortoise, and hold a twist or a half up without a band. The rhinestone pieces are the sparkle side of the collection, hearts, crowns and small crystal clips you can scatter through a half ponytail or set at one side. Our rhinestone scrunchie and our seamless hair ties are flat and stretchy rather than bulky, so they sit under a wig without leaving a bump. Snap hair clips grab even fine, slippery hair, which is what makes them useful for pinning a small bun at your nape for a wig to anchor to. Clip in highlights attach with a light metal clip and run a streak of another color through your hair for the day. Our bling reading glasses sit here too, cat eye frames set with crystals.
Will a hair clip hold in a wig
Clips close on a wig the same way they close on your own hair. The question is what shows at the back once the hair goes up.
Try it on a wig you already own before you buy anything for one you do not. Put the hair up the way you would wear it, then look at the nape in a hand mirror. If the edge of the cap shows, take the clip lower and leave a layer down over it. That is the whole trick.
Match the clip to how much hair you are gathering. Our claw clips come in medium and large. The rhinestone clips, the snap clips and the scrunchie are for a smaller section, or for holding one side back.
Clip in highlights are the only thing here that changes color rather than shape, so hold those against the wig in daylight before you decide.
If you already like your wig the way it comes, you do not need a single thing on this page. These change a look you like. They do not fix one you do not.
