What non-rooted wig colors and styles you will find here?

A non-rooted color carries the same shade at the scalp that it carries at the ends, with no darker brown at the base. Frosted Taupe is a very light brown blended with a soft grey. Marble Brown is a medium brown with golden brown through it. Ginger Brown is a dark to medium brown with a red brown blend. Silver Stone is a salt and pepper blend with a lighter grey around the face.

Many of our wigs are shown as two different products, one in non-rooted colors and one in rooted. The cut and the length match across the two.

You will see pixie cuts, chin length bobs, medium styles with layers, and long styles with feathered ends. Bangs and side-swept fronts are here, along with wave and curl.

Our non-rooted styles come in machine teased caps for ready to wear fullness, lace fronts for a natural looking hairline, and monofilament tops for a flexible part. They come in our petite, average and large caps.

How to decide between a non-rooted wig and a rooted one

A non-rooted color runs one shade from the root through the ends, without the darker base our rooted colors carry. The question is not which of the two looks better. It is which one looks like you.

Look at your own part in a window, or at any photo of your hair you like. If there was never a darker line at your scalp, non-rooted is what your hair has always done. It is the version the people who know you will recognize.

One thing to check before you order. Color blends vary slightly between styles, so the same shade name can sit a little differently on a bob than on a long style. The photos on the product page show you that style in that color, and the Wig Color Guide shows the shade on its own.

If you have never colored your hair, your roots and your ends were always the same shade anyway. A non-rooted color is simply that, and you do not need to weigh the rooted versions at all.
