Which styling products are safe on a wig

Your wig arrives ready to wear, so the question is rarely how to style it. It is which of the products already in your bathroom you can put on it, and the answer for most of them is none.

Hairspray is the clearest case. The alcohol in an ordinary spray dries the fiber and leaves a residue you then have to wash out. Use a low alcohol or alcohol free spray meant for high quality synthetic hair, like our Keep It There. Our gel, wax and lusterizer are meant for the same fiber.

Where the wig sits between wears matters as much as what you put on it. Store it on a wig hanger, a stand or a Styrofoam head.
