About Turbans & Scarves

What turbans, scarves and sleep caps does Godiva's carry?

These are soft head coverings you can wear in place of a wig, around the house, out on errands, traveling, or overnight. Our 3 Seam Turban comes in cotton and in a sweater knit that suits cooler days and evenings. The Bamboo Turban is pleated and made from organic bamboo fiber, which feels soft against your head, wicks moisture away and dries quickly. Our lycra wraps arrive pre tied, so nothing needs folding or knotting. A long wrap drapes down the back, a short wrap stays close to your head, and both come solid or printed, in colors like black, navy and blush. Our sleep cap is combed cotton, soft enough to keep on all night or to wear while you relax at home.

Do you need a turban or a scarf if you already wear a wig?

Your wig covers the hours you are out. The ones it does not cover are early morning, the end of a long day, the drive home and sleeping.

Start with the fabric, because that is the part you feel. Ours come in cotton, bamboo, sweater knit and Lycra. Pick the one you would want against your head all afternoon and the rest of the choice gets easier.

Then decide how much tying you want to do. A turban goes on already shaped. A wrap you tie yourself, and the difference between our long and short wraps is how much fabric you have left in your hands once it is on. The sleep cap is the one meant for overnight.

If you are comfortable in your wig from morning until night, you do not need any of this. These are for the hours around the wig, not instead of it.
